Measure Before You Buy – Check your doorway’s width and height to choose the right PVC strip curtain kit. Our kits come in a variety of sizes, perfect for everything from light indoor use to heavy-duty industrial environments.
For Wider Doorways – If your opening is wider than a single kit, simply install multiple kits side-by-side. This creates a seamless, full-width curtain that keeps your space insulated, clean, and easy to access.
To determine how many kits you need, simply measure the total width of your doorway and divide it by the width of one kit.
Basic formula: Door width ÷ Kit width = Number of kits required
Example:
- Doorway width: 3 m
- Kit width: 1.3 m
- Calculation: 3 ÷ 1.3 ≈ 2.3 → round up to 3 kits
👉 Always round up to make sure the entire doorway is covered.
- Install kits side-by-side to create a seamless full-width curtain
- Allow slight overlap between kits for better sealing and insulation
- For high-traffic or windy areas, consider choosing a heavier-duty kit
Yes — if your doorway height is lower than the standard size, the PVC strips can be easily trimmed to fit. Simply cut them to the required length using a sharp knife or heavy-duty scissors for a clean finish.
Yes — all kits are DIY-friendly and designed for quick installation. Each kit includes pre-cut PVC strips, stainless steel mounting hardware, and fixings.
You’ll only need a few basic tools:
- Drill
- Screwdriver or impact driver
- Measuring tape
- Level (recommended for straight installation)
- Suitable screws/anchors (if installing into masonry, concrete, or steel surfaces)
Most installations can be completed in a short time using standard tools.
Yes — they help retain cold or warm air, making them ideal for:
- Cool rooms
- Refrigerated storage
- Climate-controlled workspaces
This can help reduce energy costs.
Yes:
- The Anti-Insect Kit (yellow strips) is specifically designed to deter insects
- All kits help reduce dust, wind, and airborne particles
They can be used in semi-outdoor or sheltered areas, such as:
- Loading docks
- Sheds
- Barns
However, they are best suited for indoor or covered environments.
- Anti-Insect Kit 100mm– typically no overlap
- 200mm & 300mm kits – include approx. 50mm overlap for better sealing
Overlap can be adjusted during installation if needed.
PVC strips are low maintenance:
- Wipe with warm water and mild detergent
- Avoid harsh chemicals
- Replace individual strips if damaged
With proper use, PVC strip curtains are durable and long-lasting, especially:
- 200mm x 2mm kits for medium-duty use
- 300mm x 3mm kits for heavy-duty industrial environments
Yes — individual PVC strips can be easily replaced without removing the entire curtain. Each strip is mounted separately, so you can simply remove the damaged strip and install a new one.
We recommend keeping a spare strip on hand for quick replacement, especially in high-traffic areas.
